27-0 is a free browser game available at 27-0.thecastpatrol.com.au, made by The Cast Patrol. We collect very little personal data, accounts are optional, and we do not sell your data.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the game is played, including pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and in-game interactions (for example games started, seasons completed, share card opens). This data is collected automatically when you use the site. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising
We show ads from Google AdSense to help keep our games free. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure how ads perform. You can turn off personalised ads in Google’s Ad Settings, or opt out of some other companies’ personalised ads at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads or ad cookies are used. Playing as a guest
If you play without an account, we do not collect your name, email or any personally identifiable information. Your game history is saved in your own browser only and is never sent to us.

CAST Games accounts (optional)
You can create a free CAST Games account to back up your game history and see your stats across 27-0 and other Cast games. Accounts are optional and are for people aged 13 and over. You sign in with Google or Apple, and we never see or store your password.

What we store
Your email address and a unique account ID from your sign-in provider (your email is held by our sign-in service, not stored with your game data; with Apple you can hide your real email). Your date of birth, used to confirm you are 13 or over and to keep betting advertising and partner offers away from anyone under 18. It is private to you and never shown publicly. Your email preferences (CAST Games news, and separately partner offers including betting partners, 18+ only) and when you set them. Your optional fan profile (favourite NRL team, country and state, gender, and whether you listen to The Cast Patrol podcast). Your game history and stats for each Cast game you play while signed in (for example mode, score, result and the players you picked), including games played on the same device before signing in.

Where it is stored and who can see it
Accounts use Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), with game data stored in Google’s Sydney, Australia region. Google processes this data on our behalf. Only you can see your data: our database rules only allow each account to read its own data. We never show your email publicly and we do not sell or share your personal data. We use combined, anonymous figures (for example the share of players who support each club) to understand our audience and show sponsors who plays; these never identify you. Your favourite team, location and podcast answer are sent to Google Analytics for reporting; your date of birth, gender, name and email are not. Your first name (from Google or Apple, or typed in by you) is kept by our sign-in service, shown only to you, and not stored with your game data.

Emails and your choices
We only email you if you tick the opt-in box. Partner offers are a separate 18+ choice, sent by us: we never pass your email to partners. Every email has an unsubscribe link. In your CAST Profile you can switch emails off, download a copy of your data, sign out, or permanently delete your account, game history and stats. We keep account data until you delete your account or ask us to.

Hosting
27-0 is a static website. Standard technical information (IP addresses, browser info, request logs) may be processed by our hosting and CDN provider for security and performance purposes.

Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date above reflects the latest update.
